Lily Davidson, Joe Orr
Joe (right) and Lily (next to him) at a dance in 1961 (the year before they were married). The couple on the left are Bill and Pat Wilson. Bill was a good friend of Joe's from before either of them had girlfriends. Unfortunately Pat later got MS and died relatively young. Bill remarried and he and his 2nd wife kept in touch with Lily even after Joe's death in 1998. Bill died in about 2007.
Lily remembers that on the day of this dance she'd got her hair cut short as a surprise for Joe whose reaction was: "What did you do that for?"
