A Japanese psychological mystery directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda from a screenplay written by Yuji Sakamoto. The same events seen from 3 different perspectives eventually reveal the truth about what was going on in the lives of two young boys, their single parents and their teacher, though it's not clear whether in the end they survived or died and were "reborn".
